Grypon's Place is a non-profit organization where people turn to when they need help. People of all ages and walks of life call Gryphon's Place when life gets tough. Gryphon's Place provides the following services: Crisis, Helpline, 2-1-1, Sexual Assault Services, School Programs such as Gatekeepers and Restorative Justice, and Mediation Services.
Gryphon's Place mission statement states "Gryphon Place connects people and organizations to resolve conflict and crisis, foster volunteerism, and meet community needs."
Gryphon's Place clientele is anyone who is in need of help.
Gryphon's Place stated goals are: improve programs, increase community awareness, develop people, diversity and grow financial resources, and strengthen organizational effectiveness and adaptability.
The training for Gryphon's Place consisted of 3 eight hour days consisting of role plays, suicide prevention, prevention techniques, coping strategies, and obtaining information about the organization and their resources they provide. Gryphon's Place evaluate their employees through monitoring their calls and checking in with the lead on your shift on your behavior. The Dress Code for Gryphon's Place is business casual.
