Abstract: Field Experience, YWCA, Fall 2017: My supervisor shared with me that having an understanding of connections made and seen throughout each interpersonal relationship, can help with the understanding of how relationships play an important role in the individual life.

FLE Content Area Reflection: My supervisor effectively communicated with Dan about his obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and how his reaction to certain things may be good intentionally, however it can become scary or harmful to others. For example, the conflict was Dan calling the front desk about 40 times on day just to see if they were okay. The resolution was having Dan only call about 1-3 times a day just to ease his mind and also ease the front desk workers mind as well. This scenario fits Interpersonal Relationships because my supervisor and Dan have a friendship and this friendship allows her to communicate to Dan without him getting offended.
