As a highly dedicated student at Western Michigan University,  my experience with children aligns well with the qualifications you are seeking for the desired position; my role as a Kindercamp Counselor at Sherman Lake YMCA in Battle Creek along with my field experience at YWCA, and my internship at Gryphon Place.

With more than 10 years of combined experience with children ranging from the ages of 3 years old to 26 years old, alongside my volunteering within the school system and special-need adults and children in my community throughout my lifetime, I feel  that I am the best candidate for the position. I am well acquainted with classroom instruction, development of instruction plans, Microsoft Office, parent-counselor relationships, and children and family relationships. Furthermore, my experiences with children and their families allowed me to create a solid educational foundation and a passion for children. I am extremely enthusiastic about building a platform on strengths, hopes, and dreams of those that I meet, especially those within the community who feel that they do not have a platform that includes inclusion. It is my sole belief that for a child to succeed, each helping hand that meets that child must be fully engaged.
